This project is designed to facilitate the identification of child deaths due to homicide in Los Angeles by scarping pre-existing data from the LA Times and making it more targeted for prevention and intervension.

This project uses the lavaan package in R to develop a model to estimate the direct and indirect effect of violence exposure on externalizing behavior as mediated by symptoms of post-traumatic stress.
